Dr Ian Hart is a Pain Management Consultant covering Guildford, Woking, Chobham, Staines, Ashford, Feltham, Isleworth and Chertsey. He qualified as a doctor from United Medical Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals. Whilst training as an Anaesthetist he was inspired to develop his interest and skills in the field of Pain Management. His extensive training in Pain Management was at St Bartholomew’s Hospital London, and in the South West of England in Plymouth and Truro.
He joined the highly rated Pain Management Team at Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Trust in 2004 as a Consultant in Pain Management and Anaesthetics. The majority of his time in both the NHS and independent sector is spent in Pain Management. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA).
He applies the full range of modern approaches to the management of pain. Having such a broad range of techniques to call upon is particularly useful in the field of Pain Management, where one approach alone is often just not enough.
